Greek Police Fight For Sovereignty; Will Arrest IMF/EU Dictators
Greek police who are fighting for the country’s last vestige of national sovereignty, have threatened the financial dictators from the European Union and International Monetary Fund with arrest warrants, if they continue to force citizens in to poverty.
The Federation of Greek Police, the nation’s largest police union, have written a letter to the European Central Bank’s mission chief in Greece, Klaus Masuch, and the former European Commission chief inspector for Greece, Servaas Deroose, accusing the unelected institutions of “blackmail, covertly abolishing or eroding democracy and national sovereignty.”
Greece handed over its right to financial self-determination when its corrupt leaders racked up a huge deficit in the early 2000s and then secretly sold off its public assets to Goldman Sachs. As their debts grew and the world’s economy tanked, they have now been signed over to a series of EU/IMF bailout packages.
At no point were the innocent citizens of the country ever asked if they wanted to get in to debt or how to get out of it, instead their labour has become collateral to the banks. They are cattle on a farm, being milked for taxes for the private banksters, and being forced out of the pastures and in to the factory pens of austerity.
The Greek police have slowly but surely woken up to the ponzi scheme that has ruined their country.
“Since you are continuing this destructive policy, we warn you that you cannot make us fight against our brothers. We refuse to stand against our parents, our brothers, our children or any citizen who protests and demands a change of policy,” said the union, which represents more than two-thirds of Greek policemen.
“We warn you that as legal representatives of Greek policemen, we will issue arrest warrants for a series of legal violations … such as blackmail, covertly abolishing or eroding democracy and national sovereignty.”
It’s not clear if any police will actually make arrests, for that they’d need a judge willing to prosecute. But if the armed thugs of the state are not on the state’s side, its only so long that the suits can enforce their control.
